David Tonso

David is co-owner and acting CEO for Canon Potato Company. He was born and raised in Center, CO and returned home after graduating from Colorado State University with a degree in Ag Marketing in 1984. He joined the family owned business that fall, spending the first year in warehouse operations before moving into the sells department. He has been there ever since, and still works the sales desk along with the other duties that come with running a business. He has served as a member and as chair of the Potato Section of The United Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Association and as member and Vice Chair of the Colorado Potato Administrative Committee as well as chair of its marketing sub- committee. When he’s not at the warehouse he enjoys most anything having to do with the game of golf!!

Matt Glowczewski

Matt was introduced into the produce business when he went to work for a Wholesale/Foodserve company in Pueblo, Colorado in 1985. After taking part in all different phases of the operation over a 10 year span, Matt moved to the San Luis Valley with his wife and three daughters and joined Canon Potato Co. as a sales rep in 1995. Matt is a lifelong die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and enjoys the mutual heckling that goes along with living and working in Bronco country!

Tina Killinen

Tina is a Colorado native, who grew up in the heart of ski country Summit County Colorado. She received her Accounting Certificate through Colorado Mountain College, in Breckenridge, Colorado. Looking for a more laid back lifestyle she moved with her teenage daughter to the San Luis Valley in 2000 and started her career in the potato industry as an Office Manager of a potato warehouse. After working from home for a few years she rejoined the work force and became a part of the Canon Potato family in January of 2007. As Office Manager Tina handles office administration, accounts receivable and payable. An avid animal lover, she enjoys horseback riding and hiking with her dogs.

John Tonso

John is co-owner and Production/Storage manager for Canon Potato Company. He was born in Canon City, Colorado in 1947 and moved to Center when his father, Joe Tonso Jr., moved the family there in 1952.  That was when he and his brother Jim Tonso Sr. founded Canon Potato Company. John graduated from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, Socorro, New Mexico in 1972 with B. S. Degrees in Geology and Mining Engineering. He worked in the mining industry until 1980 when he returned to Center. He took a foreman position at Canon Potato Company in 1982 and has been with the company since that time. John took over the Production Manager position for the company in the summer of 2008. He has worked on the local Ducks Unlimited Committee for two decades and is an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.  His favorite color is camo.
